After the huge success of Alexandria’s Food and Wine Festival
We are proud to announce its return on June 21st, 2014 from 12pm -5pm.
The festival is a community-based event dedicated to promoting local business development and demonstrating the benefits of living, working, and playing in the vibrant Carlyle District. The event will feature tastes of local foods and wine, as well as artisans, a Children’s Corner, and live entertainment. The event transforms John Carlyle Square into a lively festival venue.
It is easily accessible by car, Metrorail or Dash Bus. It is conveniently located just three blocks from the King Street Metro Station and four blocks from the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station on Metrorail’s Yellow and Blue Lines.
We give back to the community: a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Volunteer Alexandria. Volunteer Alexandria is in the business of helping Alexandrians give back to this City with their whole heart, through volunteering. We are essentially matchmakers providing connections between volunteers and nonprofits or City agencies needing assistance the most.
